Sandisfield Library has joined CW MARS

We are thrilled to announce that the Sandisfield Library has joined the CW MARS (Central and Western Massachusetts Automated Resource Sharing) network! This means that our patrons can now enjoy access to an extensive collection of resources across a large network of libraries throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

What This Means for You:

New Library Cards:

When you visit the Sandisfield Library, you will be issued a brand-new CW MARS library card. This card will provide you with access not only to our library’s offerings but also to the vast resources available through participating libraries in the CW MARS system.

Manage Your Account Online:

With your new library card, you can easily manage your borrowing information through the “My Account” link in the Menu at the top of our website. This portal allows you to:

  • Check your book lending history
  • View and manage holds on books
  • Check on due dates and waiting periods
  • Check on any fines or fees
  • Update personal information as needed

Holds and Notifications:

If you find a book you would like to borrow that is not currently available, you can place a hold on it as long as your account is in good standing. Once your book is ready for pickup, you will receive an email notification, simplifying the borrowing process.

Access to E-Books:

Additionally, you can utilize the Libby app with your new library card number. Libby provides access to a diverse collection of e-books and audiobooks that you can enjoy online or download for offline reading.

We are excited to offer these new services and resources to our community. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to visit us at the library or contact us through our website. Happy reading!
